In the last post I highlighted the topic of relaxation from different starting points, this is all about, to create relaxation for the thoughts and emotions with certain questioning techniques.

We all know it, when the thoughts just don't want to be silent or we're concerned with a problem. We are then stuck in our emotions and feel it that way, that we just can't let go of these thoughts.

Various questioning methods can be helpful here, to create clarity and letting go just for yourself. I would now like to present four such thought experiments to relax your thoughts.

1.) Sedona mind relaxation- method

You have an inner tension, that keeps you very busy, an unresolved emotion, that you want to let go, but you don't know how. That is normal, because everyone feels that way, sometimes more and sometimes it runs better. Relaxation is nothing, which just comes on its own.

Maybe you are angry with something or someone: Your boss criticized something, the colleagues were whispering funny, Your child was complained and the whole day was just exhausting and draining. In the end, you argued with your partner, because you're already on 180 and a little thing was enough, to make you explode.

Now consider one of these situations and the associated feelings. Then ask yourself the following questions and just be honest with yourself. There is no right or wrong in this method, there is no requirement, how to answer, it's about you and your emotions.

So here are the questions:

  1. What am I feeling at that moment? Is it possible for me, to feel this emotion fully?
  2. I can welcome this feeling? Little bit?
  3. I could feel, let go of that emotion? Can i let it go?
  4. I would be ready?
  5. When?

That was all the questions. There is nothing more to say or to ask.

Just answer these questions as honestly as possible and watch, what your answers tell you. You can apply these questions to any depressing emotion, as often as you like.

This problem can also alleviate physical complaints, as if a burden is being lifted from your shoulders. Just try it out, when you feel ready for it, it can help, To try new things!

2.) The Work von Byron Katie

This is a little more extensive, but very interesting method of asking questions. It is also well suited, to smooth the waves in yourself and bring about relaxation. Here you can make yourself aware, how you unconsciously entered a situation with prejudice or met another person. Because mostly we take our thoughts as pure, perfect truth, without checking, whether these programs, that we have been doing for years and that we believe in, really correspond to reality. But we are not our thoughts! We have the power, to think everything, what we want. Good things too!

This questioning technique is a great way, Your own views, To put pre-awards and thought samples to the test once. Then to experience relaxation of our thoughts. That's how it works:

Answer the following questions as bluntly as possible, without indulgence, but judge harshly and strictly. Don't try, forgiving, to be friendly or understanding. Because the more honest and petty you answer them, the greater your benefit in this exercise:

  1. Who or what makes you sad, annoys you or makes you angry? What disappointed you?
  2. What is it exactly?, that you didn't like about it, what still bother you about it?
  3. How should the situation or the person change? What do you want from him / her?
  4. What should one do or no longer do, what or how should it be, think or feel?
  5. What do you need from the person? What should he / she give or do for you, so that you are happy?
  6. What do you think about him / her?? Make a list!

If you did that, do the second part of the exercise. Review your statements and thoughts sentence by sentence with the questions below.

  1. Is everything really true??
  2. I can know for sure, that it's all true?
  3. How do I react to this thought? How i feel, if I … think?
  4. Can i see a reason, to let go of that thought?
  5. I can see a peaceful reason, a thought, that doesn't cause me any stress, to hold onto that thought?
  6. Who would I be without this thought?
  7. Turn your statement over!

It can be very liberating, not having to be forgiving, but simply to let go of even the worst of thoughts. This exercise is about, to judge uninhibited first. Of course you can also judge yourself, maybe only, after doing practice with others' behavior.

It is recommended, to do this exercise in writing and how to answer the questions, is entirely up to you. Even if you only start with “And” or “I do not know” answer, that's right, if it is right for you.

What we can take from this exercise in the end is, that we often fully trust our beliefs, until we put them to the test. Accept your thoughts with understanding and check their truthfulness. Then these thoughts and feelings let you go and you can find a piece of inner peace, Gain relaxation and freedom.

The problem is not our thoughts, but the assumption, that you can believe them unseen and unchecked.

3.) Value in dispute

There are moments or situations, where everything is too much for us. Imagine, You already carry a lot of loads with you and then something unexpected happens. The dropping, that overflows the barrel.

Some little things could then become accelerators, that bring us close to collapse.

So that it doesn't have to happen, it's a great way, to find some relaxation, that we care about the dispute value. That means, that you weigh up, whether this one thing, which is stressing you right now and will make your life even harder, is worth the effort, To get caught up in it too.

Because often it's ridiculous little things, which then lead you to the palm of your hand and lead to it, that you are in all these burdens, whether big or small loses.

With this method you can achieve, that you get more clarity about it, like you this topic, really want to assess that sitation or stress factor.

The geht´s:

Make a list, with all the big and small things, that stress you. Then decide, where excitement is not worth it, because it is too void too little, that the stress is not worth it.

Then if this, classified as small stress factors, Things happen or happen, you can just stay calm and relax. Because you have clarified for yourself, that they are not worth the effort.

Next you can get used to it, always clarify the value in dispute first and only then react. Because if you already estimate, that it's not worth it, get upset about it, you can handle it with ease. There are a few questions about this, that can help you find more relaxation:

  • How will I deal with the situation a little bit, maybe judge tonight?
  • How will I think about it in a week?
  • what changes, if I let myself be provoked by this thing?
  • Who benefits from it, when I'm stressed and upset?

You are well equipped with this question to yourself, To distinguish the important from the unimportant and thus to find more mental relaxation.

relaxation

4.) ask, that create stress and questions, create relaxation

how we see ourselves, is often because of it, how we deal with ourselves in our thoughts. We are strong and confident, thinking will probably be focused on solutions.

We tend to ponder, then the questions are, which we face rather hindrance to become more satisfied and to find relaxation.
