My contribution is to help all those, who suffer from migraines and tension in neck and shoulders, to get this under control. Pain restrict your life, and that's why I put together my most effective tips here, to get rid of migraine and pain naturally, sustainably and permanently .

Everyone of you, who ever has or had migraine , who, like me, has suffered over years, looking for a panacea against it.

Search for solutions

Anyway, I felt this way. I left no stone unturned, and my quest for THE solution bordered to the manic – I just did not want to live with this pain any longer.

For especially bad times I suffered 15 Days a month under these life-limiting pain. I could not do anything, not move at best and my pain was so strong, that sometimes I even could not sleep .

When I took triptans, I got stomach cramps and I felt dizzy and everything swam before my eyes.

Completely normal painkillers did not help, no matter, how much I took.

So what to do, when conventional medicine fails? No doctor could help me and no drug achieved a reduction.

I was desperate and had… yes, more migraines!

The first improvement I experienced as, I tried, not to think and brood so much anymore, because my thinking was mostly negative. For that I had to pull myself together pretty much, but the attacks became less.

I found out, that with migraine also strong tension occurred in the neck- shoulder,- and back , But to get this under control, was almost impossible.

Migraine and tension

Since I have always been tense since my youth, without notice that consciously, I always saw only the effects, it was a huge task for me, to change anything with the state of my body.

I got fibromyalgia, which is pain throughout the body, what also is not just going away. By this disease, I was addicted to drugs (medicine), the pain was simply unbearable.

After that the fibromyalgia pain was gone, but still had severe strains, that restricted my life painfully and thoroughly.

While I did my training as a counselor in the conflict aid, I started through the many exercises in self-reflection about my drug abuse and began to see things more clearly. I found out, that after some time most of these pills cause the opposite effect from , what are they actually alleviate: the so-called rebound effect.

The tablets, that should help me, to be more relaxed (Diazepam, Tetazepam u.ä.), caused me to be more strained!!!

After a short while I stopped taking any pills, had a not so easy withdrawal , which almost took a year , looked for work and began working on, to take my health into my own hands!

An important reason was my child, that I got in 2016 .. I wanted to be there for him any time, no distractions, without restrictions. Yet I always had days, which were so painful and uncomfortable, that it was hard, to focus or have patience, because I preferably would have holed myself up with pain.

I wanted to improve my whole body, wanted to feel better permanently but had doubts, if that was possible. Now, after five years, I'm two and a half months completely migraine-free for the first time and feel, how I can be more relaxed every day, I'm balanced, optimistic, happy and in balance!

I can focus on my child, my work and my household. I can make simple things, granted, which when I had previously done that everything would hurt and I would have had two days of pain.

No one needs to live with pain, never.

It is, like I have a new, a second life, one, I have given myself!

After you now know so much about me, you surely want to know, how I have done that.

No fear, your patience will be rewarded!

I want to emphasize, that all my tips have worked excellently for me and I wish all, of you who give it a try, the same. Unfortunately I can not predict, if these tips are working good for you to get the same awesome results.

Just try it out, none of this takes much time, All you need is perseverance and the will, to be pain-free!

So now to the tips, as you migraines and pain permanently, naturally and sustainable .

1.) The most important thing is, that you relax your thoughts.

I know, is easy to say, but it simplifies the whole life so incredibly. And very soon it will work automatically.

For this task I had, as reminder, tinkered little stop signs and distributed in the apartment. Always, when I have pondered and had negative thoughts, I told myself “STOP” !. As I said, it´s a little exercise , but it is a simple way, not drift off or to ponder.

2.) Watch your posture!

Try , to keep you always straight: chin up, shoulders back and down, chest out, belly in and butt out!! And always stay evenly on both feet!

Alone this change in your attitude can work wonders. and simultaneously you make a confident , upright figure, showing, that you are standing firmly on the ground.

a.) Straight posture

Keep your head straight up, the chin up. Stretch your neck . If you do that, You notice the same time as you, the next point b) is much easier.

b.) neck- shoulder- Arm- and back tension

can be improved with an optimized posture and completely on many days “!”.

  • Let your arms and shoulders just hang, pull the shoulder blades together (will result in the beginning first to soreness, but if you have mastered the first few days, it gets better and better).
  • Pull your shoulders down and back deliberately, gently but noticeably. You will not always remember and your shoulders will move back to the top after a short time, but the more you notice consciously and pull them back down behind, the more often it will work!

Sooner or later you will feel a positive difference. Now it is only time, expand this!

c.) Pull your belly in

This is also a great exercise in two ways.

If you tense your belly, you relieve your back muscles at the same time , resulting in less pain in this area. Exactly, what we want!

And also…You tighten your belly and get a little abs, which leads to, that your abdomen will be firmer and leaner. Yay!!

d.) Hip and buttocks

For me, apparently the most tension went out from the hip and the butt , because when I turned to this region more, speak: bring more mindfulness of relaxation there , it almost instantly went better.

To relax at this point, more and more, there are several quite simple exercises:

  • Pelvic Floor Exercises: let muscles tense and release, whenever you find the time for it. If seated, standing and lying, it´s possible to do it everywhere. feel after this relaxion, whenever you release, then you realize the feeling and can recognize it, when you relax more and more.
  • Let your pelvis circling , in both directions. So you expand your mobility
  • Haul your butt out, so you do not let the muscles there go tight and feel immediate relief

3.) Temporomandibular joint

Very important, and for me an incredible accelerator on the road to well-being, is a bite splint.

The reason: The jaw muscle is the largest muscle in the body, which is not surprising, considering you how often we use it: to speak, chew, smile and how often when we tense there unconsciously.

You can try out pretty easily, whether you are suffering from a severe tension in the facial area, by pushing from the ears toward the lower jaw with your fist or fingers.

If you feel pain there, then get a bite splint!!

This is made free from the dentist for you, it takes about. one week. I wear my only at night and it helped very quickly and permanently.

you can also massage this area , of course,, but only the track has supplied permanent results for me.

4.) Stretching and stretching

Is nothing more than the headline states . Stretch yourself often during the day. Take the arms and pulling upward, stand on tiptoes. lengthen your whole body and stretch yourself, as far as it goes. Then feel the relaxation.

Now I want you put a few more resources and applications to the heart, that I, after much trying, have found out to be the most effective:

  • cold: a wonderful means, to let disappear migraine and tension.

Take a cold shower for a moment every morning (not all of the time). Especially on shoulders, on neck and back a cold shower seems very soothing for tension.

If you have migraine headaches, and also feel tension, put out cooling pads on the tense spots and also on the eyes (Caution: not too long). They work best, if you use no towel or similar. Just look, that it is pleasant for you.

Also in acute migraine helps hair wash with ice-cold water and washing the face with cold water, especially at the temples and eyes, depending on, where the pain is the most.

Lay your hands on the aching spot and massage

Sounds simple, it is!

Just lay the whole palm on the shoulder or the neck or where it hurts and leave it there for a few moments, 1-2 minutes breathing calmly. that can relax noticeably.

Massage gently and carefully, put more pressure on tense points, then breathe and relax.

Japanese healing plant oil

JHP is for tension and migraine my absoutes panacea. It works very often, but not always. In a particularly severe attack it only alleviates.

Attention: You then smell like a peppermint cookies! To me it is more important, that the pain goes away , as the smell, !.

Another note: When I apply the oil, my skin goes, cold, it is possibly that on your skin it will appear warm. I have applied once in the evening on neck, shoulders, back and legs (yes, you can use it anywhere, be cautious with your face, do not let get in the eyes) and have frozen til I fall asleep, as if there were minus grades: )

As you can see there, you can use JHP for much more . I take it now and then as a digestive aid after too much food, or even with a nervous stomach and it always helps!

Magnesium oil

Magnesium oil is great!

It's widely known, that magnesium strengthens muscles and can very well help with tension.

I didn´t want to take too much pills and then found magnesium oil for me. It is sprayed directly on the painful area and, massaged in, helping super! It is odorless and is not exactly an oil and it absorbs quickly. More info:

Is a alternative to medicinal herbs oil and smells not so much. I like it mostly as a cooling gel, There is also a variant which heats the areas its on.

Very good remedy for tension, it revives and refreshes the places you feel pain or tension. You can use the whole body.

To take in

Lavender, Valerian and Co.

Because migraine and Verspanningen have so much to do with mental health, it can help, to take daily herbal sedative as prevention. CAUTION: please read the leaflet!

I have experienced great support with herbal sedatives, I am generally calmer and became more balanced. And the painful attacks have rapidly reduced.

Even now I take even lavender, valerian and, when really something exciting is happening, Neurexan (please read package insert here also !). It helps me a lot, to keep my thoughts in check, the dietary supplements make not addictive and not sleepy.

For me, it was and is the perfect support, feel much better.

Willow Bark pain pills

Willow bark contains natural salicylic, which is the active ingredient in aspirin. It has anti-inflammatory, pain-killing, blood thinning and blood pressure-lowering properties.

In migraine, it can also happen, that the blood pressure rises during the migraine. Thereby the dragees, similar to aspirin or aspirin are able to help.

Since then I have read in a leaflet of a triptan it here,

For the ones, like me, who do not drink coffee, there is an alternative: caffeine pills.

Acupressure

Here are some acupressure points, which can relieve the pain in migraine.

I find the point at hand, and the two on the feet to be very effective.

Press the points one or two minutes fixed, thereby relax and just close your eyes.

I guess since about 2 years every morning I take preventive an ASS 100 gentle on the stomach and my attacks have thus reduced significantly, they are definitely less pronounced , than before.

Caffeine also helps very well in migraine and headaches of all kinds. So if you realize that the pain is beginning drink quickly a strong espresso.

For the ones, like me, who do not drink coffee, there is an alternative: caffeine pills.

Acupressure

Here are some acupressure points, which can relieve the pain in migraine.

I find the point at hand, and the two on the feet to be very effective.

Press the points one or two minutes fixed, thereby relax and just close your eyes.
