In this post I want to show you 6 possibilities, how easy, it can be, to bring about positive changes in your behavior. Changes are difficult, it is difficult, to bring something new in your life, and to fully exploit your opportunities. You know, you do not feel well, the way your life is going, how things and you know, that you must change something.

This is exactly where it is already beginning: Who wants to must? It is very coercive, as it is an incentive, to start actually .

In addition, not all is bad, especially, because you're used to it. The, what you know, is indeed easier to bear, as the unknown, what makes you afraid.

The first step is always the hardest, and therefore not everyone dares it, to go a new way. Too uncertain, it is, whether it changes really something, and where you should start? What can you do differently, without falling , but stay on your feet and move on? Or dance sometimes…

I you want to present a program today that makes it feasible, to change the basics in your life or your behavior, in small steps. Without much effort, because the effort, you suspect behind such a large step, is certainly a reason, why you have not started yet.

Also, we begin!!

The first step is:

acceptance

Acceptance does not mean, that you like something, that you want something, to happen again or that it would like to have in your life. This is not at all the meaning of acceptance.

It means: I take me as I am, I am just now. I can live fully in the present, no matter what I have experienced or did in the past .

Because some things you just can not change , such as. your past. You can believe it, of course,, that something needs to be solved or something great should happen, before you can start, to change something. Unfortunately, this is a misconception.

You can try for the rest of your life, To change your past and will never be able to. You can accept but, take it like it is, that things have been so and move on, without the guilt, the pain, of fear or whatever else, at this moment, to let slow down in the now.

By accepting the past, you can take away the importance or at least your interpretation of your past. and allow positive changes

You can put aside your past problems and develop but be present in the moment, the here and now, absolutely delight in its full maximum!

Accept, who you are NOW, and let everything else behind you, because just as it is indeed: it's behind you, in the past. You can not change it, no matter how hard you try or condemn it or be ashamed of it. So you accept NOW, because if you see it realistically, there is only this moment.

By the paradoxical exercise of acceptance you can win the ultimate and complete freedom for you. Because if you accept something, as it is, then it has no more power over you.

The past is over, the future is not there yet, so why worry or grieve for these two periods? That seems pointless. Make the best, from each torque, because that puts you ahead!!

Acceptance in the here and now is a good way, to create spaces and opportunities to, to start something new.

The second step is:

Just pretend!

Ask yourself the question, if you are satisfied with your life , as it is. No? Then move yourself in this state, in which you'd like to! You want to be happy? Then laugh, smile, do something, what you do connect to the desired state .

For it is incredible, how many positive changes you can achieve with the power of your thoughts. Incredible, but not impossible. (More about that in my next post, who deals with hypnosis and self-hypnosis).

Of course you can convince you, that's it going bad. This does not work, the cashier was rude, the car cut me and to make matters worse…( Please enter the mentally here, what goes bad for you).

But for what purpose should you want to convince you of it?? There is no good reason. And yet we do it quite often, instead of focusing on, what is good.

The good news is, you have it in your hands, to direct your feelings and thoughts differently, out for the better. In some cases, back to reality.

I have previously made it every bit as this: Everything in my life was bad, I was bad, I suffered and I made mostly external circumstances responsible for this. It really is much easier, than even to take responsibility, then it would have layed in my hand, to change something.

So I was able to wallow in my misery and feel bad. So I decided subconsciously, I feel so and stayed on course reinforcing and empowering events in my surroundings. Naturally I found a lot!

After a long time, when it was time for me to do something, EVERYTHING, to change, I realized, it is also possible and better, to observe positive amplifier, to interpret good things in situations or people . And I felt good so!

smile….! Brings positive change in your life!

I smiled, although there was nothing to smile, I forced myself to do things, I pulled myself together, I DID SO, AS IF I AM HAPPY, and it worked!! Better than ever before, I had my life under control and so far , I see nothing negative.

For this purpose, perhaps a short anecdote:

Recently, I parked in a temporary parking zone. The clerk's office came. Nice people, that knew my car and knew, where I work, rang and told me . I spoke to the Ordungsamt, listened , that it would cost at least 25,00 EUR, but since they had already ordered the tow truck…

I was allowed to park somewhere else, immediately got a better parking lot and was not even written down, because I had covered the parking duration of my parking ticket to one and a half hours.

Now I could have me think about all day what happened, worrying about the costs and the incident to and would have had a bad day.

Instead, I've been happy, that the nice residents have notified me, I was not towed, had such a practical new parking lot and did not get any nodules. I have also bought the two cute women flowers, so they that can also be happy and was so able to express my gratitude, which gave me a good feeling in addition.

Until the writing of this article I have wasted no more thought on the actual incident .

Believe me, as I used to think of myself and my environment, such a thoroughly positive change seemed unreal to me, but now it feels very real and so much better!!

That is why one of the steps on the path of positive changes:

DO SO, AS IF!!!!!!!

Because:

Whoever makes, what he always does, will always remain, what he is.

Positive change

The third step is:

READ  Resources-Find and use them

Create you a new frame (Reframing)

That means, that YOU have a say in the outcome of a critical situation . Instead of thinking: let's see what will happen / that does not work anyway / I am without expectations and the like, CHOOSE how should be the outcome of the situation for you!!

Be deliberately about, what you want to achieve.

An example: If you have a predominantly negative thoughts, are holding the world for bad and evil, and everyone and everything is against you , how big is the chance, that you notice something positive ?

Pretty sure the odds are very low for this.

This is because, you anticipate, that something bad is going to happen to you, because your thoughts are suggesting that over and over again. But you are not your thoughts!!! You can change and adapt to different situations, as you like !!

What would happen, if you, slowly and step by step, try something else? If you observe your life, your encounters and situations in which you are, giving attention to all this, maybe, as if they happen to someone else?

Choose your attitude

You always have the choice, how you react, so try it out, to react very differently , as you would do otherwise. Life is full of such opportunities. If you do not do it today, just let the whole day pass the evening, what situations have occurred today, are where you could have reacted differently.

Please not that, when you make yourself allegations, that you are fell back into your old patterns, but objectively, as an observer without, what have you done or said, to condemn. Just analyze the situation neutrally in retrospect.

An example :”Instead of… I would have … can do / say / react. Now, where I found a solution, it will be easier for me next time, to act positive !”

Write it down, if this helps you. Take a notebook with you, then you can write it down after a situation ocurred, if something was noticable, and write down your reinterpretation. Remember to your exercise with little sticky notes or try it with something, whatever is helping you, to reinforce your positive thoughts. And to allow positive changes.

The more you practice this, and sometimes manage, the faster and better you will be in it, reinterpret situations and behaviors of others positively. You can even turn it into a game: If you're just going, to let you guided by negative thoughts about a situation / another person / topic, recognize this and breathe deeply in and out.

Then try, to reinterpret this negative into positive, come up with as many examples as you can. Not only is this distracting you from your negative thoughts, no, you try to reinterpret so many positives as possible and make space for only good and well-intentioned thoughts.

What you want to achieve?

Back to the beginning of this step: Imagine getting the questions: What exactly do I want to achieve? How exactly does that look? Is it a realistic idea within my means?

It is important, that your ideas remain realistic, so you can meet them. It is also important, that you set at the beginning small goals, their achievement in the field of probability are very high. Later, if you do you have your skills tested with smaller things, you can expand your frame.

Perfecting your realistic goals, are tangible, because they are possible!! Then put your goals higher.

Be you always conscious, what you want and what you can do to achieve it . Now go ahead and do!! Have fun and enjoy it, reach your goals, step by step. Try quietly around, but don´t ever get discouraged by setbacks!!

Sooner or later you will reach what you want!!

Continue to step 4:

Anchor good emotions

Sure you´ve had a lot of good feelings and emotions. Of course, you had them!! You had gotten something particularly well, helped someone , had success, felt fun and joy!

When are feeling now not so good, try, to visualize this wonderfully positive and good emotions and feelings again. Remember it, in every detail: How was it (back then)? What did I felt? What have I done in the moment? So intense, as possible.

Remember, when did you last laugh tears. What was the occasion? How well and freed did you felt?

Remember to events in your life: Your first kiss, a big challenge, you have mastered , get the job, you wanted , a hilarious episode of your favorite show, everything possible.

Now try, to imagine four or five positive emotions and the situations, they´re belonging to.

For example, could be: joy, laugh, love, relaxation, success, keeping up, strength, Energy or what ever feels good for you.

Take your everyday emotion before (on the weekend you have free :)) ), you “to practice” or internalize want. Suppose laugh: Think of a situation, in You laughed heartily, because of a joke, a situation, of relief, with joy.

Imagine this situation over and over again before, delve into it again, make it alive, try, the same as it was then. Feel it again and again. That will quickly change your attitude to the positive.

And then link this feeling to the fingers of your hand (as a right-handed person right, left-handed left). Imagine, that this emotion, this good feeling right there, is stored in one of your fingers, always on call for you. Feel this finger, to which the emotion is to be coupled and feel the feeling, as if the situation, you remembered , just happened.

Of course, that takes a little practice, as indeed all, what should be good in the long term. If everything was easy, everyone would always be happy and pleased with himself.

So you practice. Every day for a few minutes. When is always after you. Do you not stress so, because it is supposed to bring joy into your life and do not put yourself under pressure. Positive changes should be fun!

Try the next or the after that day, or after a week, with the next emotion on another finger . You have time, so do it in that way, that you have pleasure on this task. You know: which takes a long time, will be finally good (or something like that).
